HISTORY

The Quad City Cannons started as a single team in 2009 by a few local families in order to provide a competitive baseball environment that extends beyond what was available in the area. Since that time the organization has developed into 9 baseball teams from 8U-14U and new for the 2018 season, a 12U and 14U softball team.

MISSION

The mission of the Quad City Cannons baseball/softball organization is to promote youth baseball and softball in the Quad City area.

  • To keep youth motivated with solid direction and inspiration.

  • To teach athletes to be competitors and to posses a deep determination and a desire to succeed.

  • We instill the value of following the rules and respecting others.

  • To think we instead of I. Our players understand the value and privilege of being a part of a team.

  • We work together to achieve goals. We accept criticism and advice in an effort to learn.

  • We provide them with the opportunity to compete athletically at a high level, to become lifetime learners and leaders.

  • To take charge of a situation under pressure. To show good sportsmanship in defeat and victory.

  • Most of all we want their baseball/softball experience to be enjoyable!
